President Sepi Shyne
Mayor, City of West Hollywood
Sepi Shyne made history in November 2020 when she was elected to the West Hollywood City Council. She became the first out LGBTQ Iranian elected anywhere globally and locally became the first woman of color elected to West Hollywood’s City Council. Her election also ushered in West Hollywood’s first female-majority City Council.

Vice President Henry Lo
Councilmember, City of Monterey Park
Henry's history of public service spans over 20 years. From 2003 to 2020, he served on the Garvey Elementary School District Board of Education. As a board member, he co-founded the Garvey Education Foundation, which has raised community support for the schools in the district since its founding in 2007.

Treasurer Denise Davis
Council Member, Redlands
Denise Davis grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She came to Redlands as the first in her family to pursue a 4-year college degree. She graduated from the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies at the University of Redlands in 2006. She then earned her master’s degree in Social and Cultural Psychology from the London School of Economics in 2008.

Tyller grew up in a military family. His mom served in the Navy for 20 years so they moved around the country and never lived anywhere long enough to grow roots. His military upbringing was a formative experience, and led him to seek long-term connections and community on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula.

Gabe Quinto
Council Member, City of El Cerrito
Gabriel "Gabe" Quinto became El Cerrito's first Filipino-American, the second Asian-American and first LGBTQ Councilmember in the history of the city of El Cerrito. Born in Berkeley, he grew up in El Cerrito, where he attended public schools. At Cal State University, Long Beach he earned his BS in Radio, TV & Film.

Dan Arriola
Council Member, City of Tracy
Dan Arriola was elected to the Tracy City Council in 2018. He also works as a Deputy District Attorney for San Joaquin County. At 29-years-old, he became the youngest Councilmember in the history of the City of Tracy, as well as the first openly LGBTQ elected official in the city.

Growing up in the San Francisco Mission District in the 80s, Mario received guidance and support from organizations like Kiwanis International and the Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs of America—the same organizations in which he is active today. Mario is a firm believer that there is no greater gift than helping those in need.

Lissette Espinoza-Garnica,
Vice Mayor, City of Redwood City
Lissette Espinoza-Garnica is a nonbinary queer Chicanx and a council member for District 3 in Redwood City, California. They won the city council spot in 2020.
Lissette's platform included support for rent control, reducing the police budget, COVID-19 relief, stronger public transit, government transparency, and eco-friendly initiatives.
They have an English degree from Santa Clara University.

Council Member, City of South San Francisco
James Coleman was elected in 2020, becoming the city’s youngest and first openly LGBTQ+ member of the City Council. He is passionate about improving early childhood education, addressing climate change, and making South City a safe, affordable, and enjoyable place to live.
