Mission

Provide LGBTQ municipal officials and their colleagues with a forum to share ideas and develop leadership experience. The LGBTQ Caucus is dedicated to help increase opportunities for LGBTQ people to serve in leadership roles + advocate on issues that impact our diverse constituencies in California.

Our Goals

  • PROVIDE

    A forum for the LGBTQ elected city officials + community members to discuss priority issues that impact LGBTQ people.

  • ENCOURAGE

    The active involvement and participation of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer municipal officials and their straight allies in the Caucus and programs of the League of California Cities.

  • SERVE

    As a key resource to identify and promote of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer elected and appointed officials for leadership positions.

  • CONNECT

    City officials with one another to share information and ideas, develop leadership experience, and promote a responsive city government.
